After experiencing the music, I felt profoundly captivated by the resonant bass that reverberated within me. This sound revealed a striking duality: on one side, it instilled a deep sense of tranquillity in the space it formed, while on the flip side, it hinted at subtle anxiety—reflecting the repetitive rhythms of life, where future worries and a desire for personal growth softly persist. This emotional interplay formed the foundation of my artistic journey.

Motivated by these contrasts, I incorporated repeated elements of space in my painting, examining them from various angles to visually illustrate the sense of belonging and security found in familiarity while also recognising the underlying tension within life’s recurring patterns. Through this work, I invite viewers to immerse themselves in the balance of calm and unrest, reflecting the intricacies of our emotional landscapes.

The work showcases flat, repeated spaces observed from different viewpoints, symbolising the cyclical nature of existence. The colours—a serene green complemented by gentle purple tones—were thoughtfully selected to convey comfort while subtly hinting at the anxiety in these rhythms.
